Red Pepper Online was formed as a subsidiary of ProcureTrade (Pty) Ltd in November 2015 through the amalgamation of a team of skilled and passionate individuals with over two decades of combined experience in the book industry.

Whether it’s a hardback or paperback, an e-book, an audio book, sheet music, a standard or even a set of conference papers, there is very little that we are unable to supply. Simply tell us what you want and we'll find it for you! Our team of highly-trained book specialists know exactly where to start looking.

If the book you are looking for has gone out of print, we are able to find and supply second hand copies of books from our used book network across the world.

EDI ORDERING

Our systems are integrated with INNOPAC/ Millennium, so should you be using these systems in your library, we are able to process any orders received via EDI. If you are using the INNOPAC system, we can have you set up within 24 hours so that you can start transmitting your orders to us.

Books published internationally are supplied within 4-6 weeks from date of order. Books published and distributed in South Africa are supplied within 7-10 days. We will gladly arrange for books to be couriered into South Africa from abroad should you require a faster service on an urgent request.

REGULAR FEEDBACK ON ORDERS

It is important to us that our customers are kept up to date with information on new books in their subject areas. Regular newsletters showcasing new books in are emailed out on a weekly basis. We can also supply you with catalogues and printouts of books in your areas of speciality and interest on request.

PUBLISHER WAREHOUSE VISITS

Should you have an abundance of empty shelf space or you need to quickly spend your annual book budget, we would love to take you on a shopping spree. We work closely with the major book distributors in South Africa who have warehouses overflowing with locally and internationally published books, waiting for you to pay them a visit and pluck them off their shelves.

PAYMENT METHODS

Red Pepper Online accepts the following methods of payment:

Purchase Orders
Approved customers may place their orders by using an official purchase order, and are entitled to payment terms of 30 days from date of statement.

EFT/ Direct Deposits Should you library be purchasing from petty cash or other cash funds, we gladly accept payment by EFT or direct deposit.
