HOMESCHOOLING

Parents who are homeschooling their children in South Africa can now buy all their children's Cambridge or IEB curriculum textbooks and workbooks in one place. Simply enter the ISBN or title of the book(s) you require into the search bar above, add them to your shopping cart, and leave us to do the rest.

FIRST TIME PARENT OR STUDENT SHOPPERS

If you're a parent or student buying from us for the first time, simply enter the ISBN or title of the books you're looking for in the search bar above, or browse through to our Partner Schools and Colleges page to check if your school is listed there.

1. ORDER PRE-PACKAGED TEXTBOOK PACKS FOR YOUR STUDENTS, PER GRADE

• Your school nominates Red Pepper Online as your official textbook supplier
• You provide us with your full textbook list per grade or year of study for the forthcoming year
• We check that the books you have prescribed are available and, if not, suggest alternative editions
• We compile an order form per grade or year of study where parents (or learners) can select the books they wish to order
• Your school sends these order forms out to parents together with an order cut-off date
• Parents (or learners) either deposit their payments into our account and attach proof of payment to their order form, or provide us with their credit card details on their order form
• Parents or learners will be given the option of paying either on straight or budget
• Red Pepper Online collects your school’s order forms on a nominated date and place bulk orders with our suppliers
• Books are then pre-packaged per student per grade or year of study and delivered to your school or educational institution for distribution before the start of the new academic year
• For late registrations, we will create a page on our web site for your school or educational institution where parents or learners can purchase their books independently  

2. ORDER TEXTBOOKS IN BULK – AND SAVE!

Purchase your textbooks as a school, educational institution or parent body and distribute the books independently to your students.

• Your school nominates Red Pepper Online as your official textbook supplier
• You provide us with your full textbook list per grade or year of study for the forthcoming year
• We check that the books you have prescribed are available and, if not, suggest alternative editions, and quote you accordingly.
• Special discounts are given on bulk orders
• Your school or educational institution places a bulk order for your complete textbook list with Red Pepper Online
• Red Pepper Online places bulk order with our suppliers
• Red Pepper Online supplies your school or educational institution with your books in bulk on a predetermined date, and you distribute the books to your students  

3. BUY TEXTBOOKS ONLINE THROUGH OUR PARTNER PROGRAM

• Your school nominates Red Pepper Online as your official textbook supplier
• You provide us with your full textbook list per grade or year of study for the forthcoming year
• We check that the books you have prescribed are available and, if not, suggest alternative editions
• Each and every school or educational institution that participates in our partner program will have a unique page dedicated to their school
• Parents or learners simply need to click through to our web site, navigate to the Schools page, and click through to their school
• The textbooks for each grade or year of study will be displayed separately for ease of use
• Textbooks are listed per grade, course or year of study, depending on your requirements
• Your school or educational institution sends out a textbook list to parents or learners together with instructions on how to place their orders online with Red Pepper Online
• Parents or learners place their individual orders with us online, paying either by deposit into our account, or online by credit card
• Red Pepper Online places individual orders per parent or learner per supplier. Books are either delivered to or collected by parents or learners as they arrive, in time for the new academic year
• We offer free delivery to major city centres on orders over R1000
• All books on our web site are discounted, which means more money in parent's pockets to spend on clothes and stationery!

4. BUY EBOOKS ONLINE AND DOWNLOAD THEM TO YOUR TABLET, DESKTOP OR OTHER MOBILE DEVICE VIA SNAPPLIFY

Tired of carrying around heavy school bags full of textbooks? Perhaps it’s time you purchased the eBook versions of your textbooks instead. Red Pepper Online is a proud Snapplify partner in Southern Africa, giving you access to a wide range of e-books at your fingertips!

Students can either buy and download their e-books independently, or we can supply the school with voucher codes which can be disseminated to each student.

All eBooks are protected by SnappSafe DRM and read via the Snapplify Reader.

HOW IT WORKS

• Create an account on our Snapplify store here
• Download the Snapplify app to your smartphone or tablet. The app will be your e-book library.
• Log in to the app using the same user name and password that you created on our Snapplify store
• Purchase the e-books required from our online Snapplify store (not the app)
• Pay for the e-books by credit card or EFT
• Open the app and download your e-books into the app's library. Make sure you are connected to a WiFi hotspot when you do this.
• Make notes, highlight words and paragraphs, and add bookmarks. Everything is stored safely in the Snapplify cloud to access later. Notes will be available on any apps where the Snapplify app is downloaded
• All e-books can be accessed offline. The only time you need to be online is when downloading e-books to your device
